An important area in the management of glaucoma is the detection of change. This course will discuss which individuals are at greatest risk to progress. Methods to detect change will be described including how to the assess of the optic nerve, macula and retinal nerve fiber layer in watching for change using the OCT and fundus photographs. Also signs of visual field progression will be discussed. Finally, which instruments are most useful to detect change based upon the stage of the disease will be described.
