The prevalence of myopia is rapidly increasing around the world. Furthermore, unlike other refractive conditions, myopia increases the risk of ocular pathology. This course discusses prevalence trends (both globally and in the US), causes of myopia, and the currently available methods available to Optometrists and Opticians who wish to manage myopic progression.
