Deciding when and how to treat a glaucoma suspect or someone with ocular hypertension can be challenging. Multiple data points must be analyzed including patient history, family history and multiple key risk factors such as IOP and central corneal thickness. Of course, optic disc examination, OCT imaging and visual field testing also play a key role. Understanding the structure function relationship and identifying key signs will direct what target IOP should be set.
