This course will cover the current state of peri-operative care of the cataract patient. The course covers new diagnostic tools and systemic and ocular risks associated with cataract surgery. Additionally, the course covers modern surgical technique including the use of the femtosecond laser and intra-operative aberrometry. Finally, the course covers the post-operative management of both the routine patient and common complications and their treatment and management.
