This course will cover new technology in cataract surgery. It will include updates on intra-operative technology in all steps of the surgery including incisions, capsulotomy, lens fragmentation and, new IOL technologies. These lenses can correct presbyopia and astigmatism via various mechanisms. These lenses can be trifocals, segmented bifocals, liquid adjusting and light adjusted lenses. Patient selection, risk and complication of these procedures will be covered along with current clinical results.
