How to Be Successful with GP Multifocals

This course is designed to educate attendees about improving their outcomes with gas permeable multifocal contact lenses. The course will cover the basic work up and patient selection for multifocal contact lenses. It will also discuss the pros and cons of empirical lens design versus using a fitting set in office. On-eye evaluation techniques will be discussed. The lens designs will be also covered, including concentric, aspheric and translating corneal lenses, as well as scleral and hybrid multifocal lens designs, as well as any caveats specific to certain lens designs.
