Science and research continues to better understand the human eye and the impacts of visible and non-visible light. While light is essential to sight, some components of light can inflict cellular damage; alter our sleep patterns; cause cancer and so much more. Ophthalmic lens manufacturers and lens coating developers have taken up the gauntlet and developed solutions to filter many of the negative impacts of visible and non-visible light. This session will discuss potential problems caused by light and the ophthalmic lens solutions.
