Vision Expo East Ranks 74th of Gold 100 Largest Trade Show List

Only Ophthalmic Event to Make the List; Wins Award for Best VIP Program

Norwalk, CT (October 8, 2015) – International Vision Expo & Conference East, presented by Reed Exhibitions and The Vision Council, was recognized as the 74th top ranked U.S. trade show on the 2014 Trade Show Executive magazine's list of the Gold 100. Vision Expo East has been ranked in the top tier of the Gold 100 since the list's inception in 2007.

"The shows that make up the eighth annual Gold 100 account for about 1% of the roughly 11,000 exhibitions held annually in the United States," said Darlene Gudea, president of Trade Show Executive Media Group. “The shows held in 2014 that make up the annual Trade Show Executive Gold 100 tallied a total of 46,792,238 net square feet.”

International Vision Expo East 2014 was held March 28-30 in New York, NY. The conference brought 597 exhibitors under one roof for the four-day event, occupying 262,186 net square feet of exhibit space at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center with a total of more than 23,600 participants.
