ABO & NCLE Exam Review Courses & Testing

ABO & NCLE Exams Being Offered at OptiCon @ Vision Expo West

Opticians, Contact Lens Technicians and Allied Health Professionals can now take ABO & NCLE exam review courses and sit for exams at OptiCon @ Vision Expo West. In addition to more than 75 hours of educational content developed by the OptiCon Advisory Board – and numerous other contact lens, clinical, business, allied health and retail sessions offered through the OptiCon @ Vision Expo West education program, exam review courses for the National Opticianry Competency Exam (NOCE) and the Contact Lens Registry Exam (CLRE) will be taught by current National Federation of Opticianry Schools faculty. Both the basic and advanced levels of the NOCE and CLRE review courses are being offered. The NOCE and the CLRE, as well as the ABO and NCLE Advanced Exams, the Online Spectacle Practical Exam, and the Online Contact Lens Practical Exam will be administered at a nearby Prometric testing facility on Saturday.

ABO & NCLE is very proud to announce that its ground-breaking Online Practical Examinations have now been expanded to encompass a virtual lensometer, pupilometer, frame parameter measurements, pupillary distance, slit lamp, and keratometer!

ABO & NCLE's Virtual Practical Examinations incorporate technology that was never-before available in the Optical Community, combining virtualization of the key instruments identified above, along with "hot spot" technology, video and audio technology and interaction, item completion, and numerous other advantages in order to provide a benchmark to determine actual skills and abilities of license candidates.

For more information on registering to take an exam at OptiCon @ Vision Expo West on Saturday, September 29, 2020, please visit the ABO-NCLE website: www.abo-ncle.org.
