Nearly one third of our patients are presbyopic and most of them are not satisfied with their vision correction. Of importance, all vision corrections for the presbyopes offer some level of strengths and some levels of weakness. The optical industry has capatilized on this, but it is important for us eyecare practitioners to find ways to help our patients through this process as well. This course outlines 7 key steps that we can use for our patients to help them succeed with multifocals. These key features include the selection of the proper lens for the patients, analysis of each patients ocular health as well as understanding where the win-win is for the practitioner.
